A P Baked Goods
A P Baked Goods is run by myself and my husband. We bake from scratch custom cakes, wholesale bakes, French pastries and breads in our licensed commercial kitchen on our homestead. It's so much more than baking for us, I hope to use A P Baked Goods to bring a smile to others. A fashion statement for us are outfits always accented in flour and sugar.
How did you get started in this industry?
I started making wedding cakes back in 2009 when I was a cake decorator at Marges Donut Den!
What's one of your favorite places in West MI right now?
My bakery is honestly one of my favorite places. I love what I do and the space I have to do it.

I love having the opportunity to create beautiful cakes for peoples special days!
Clique Espresso Catering
Clique is an espresso and coffee catering company that adds a touch of elegance and wow factor to any event with 30 or more guests, particularly weddings. Our hand-crafted, Italian espresso drinks and featured coffee roasts are as good or better than what you will taste at any high-end coffee shop. We have loved serving customers at hundreds of events in West MI over the last 6+ years.

Little Cake House GR
Little Cake House is a humble cake shop, where every cake is designed and made-from-scratch in my little home. I specialize in various buttercream techniques, including but not limited to buttercream flowers, wafer flowers, and modern designs. I desire to make detailed, one-of-a-kind, personalized cakes that are flawlessly executed and taste amazing.
What would you say to a couple just getting started in the wedding planning process?
Although wedding planning can be a crazy whirlwind of appointments and decisions, take time to reflect on your relationship (where it was and where it will go), and the roar of planning will subside. That, and eat as much cake as possible!
What is your favorite part of events?
I love arriving at a venue to set up a cake display. There's something about seeing how a humble dessert can radiate a bride/groom's personality on their special day.
What do you love most about your work?
I love giving a cake away to an unexpected client. Sometimes people just need a free cake.
Love’s Ice Cream & Chocolates
We make worthy treats for every. body. Meticulously from scratch with intentionally sourced ingredients. Ice cream, dairy-free gelato, low net carb gelato, and fine chocolate confectionery.
What do you love most about your work?
The blending of two passions: well-sourced food and creative art. My work is validated by the joy and delight that our customers experience when having or giving our treats.
How did you get started in this industry?
Having a music, art, and tech background I turned my curiosity toward food and decided it was intriguing and important enough to devote much of my life to it. I sold my web development company, went to culinary school, and launched Love's.
Where do you find inspiration?
I am inspired by the vast array of flavors, colors, textures, and nutrition available from the ingredients the earth offers us. I'm inspired by the flaws in our food system to offer minimally processed, exquisite but approachable treats.

How did you get started in this industry?
We were able to start the wedding division of our company about 3 years ago and we absolutely love it!
What is your favorite part of events?
Getting to meet all of our couples and getting to create partnerships with many of our vendor friends.

Say Cheese GR
Say Cheese GR, LLC is a local woman owned business serving the Grand Rapids area with customized charcuterie boards and grazing tables. Chesley Thorn (owner/creator) launched Say Cheese GR in April of 2020, after deciding to turn her hobby into a business. Chesley also teaches workshops (in person and virtual) on how to build these charcuterie boards.

We are a custom dessert bakery where everything is baked from scratch, which is a rarity in the US! We love creating dessert displays and wedding cakes for their special day. The Cake Girl
My name is Alexa and I started my Cake Girl business 4 years ago. It started as a side gig and now I get to do it full time! I love baking and I love people so it's really the best job :) I bake cakes and cupcakes for weddings, birthdays, celebrations, or any occasion! Everything is made from scratch with love. I value appearance AND taste of my cakes and cupcakes. I have a list of classic flavors but am always excited to try new, custom flavors!
